Admission and withdrawal procedure for admission

  • The students who has a desire to take admission in any class of K.C.Convent must obtain a registration form and submit it dully filled, in the office on any working day between 9 A.M to 1 P.M.
  • The candidates, who are interested to take admission and have filled in registration form and submitted in office, may have to appear in an entrance test. Written or oral, it will be decided by the Principal of the school on the basis of merit in each case.
  • On passing out the entrance test, the candidate will be eligible for admission in the class for which he/she has been permitted.
  • Admission of candidate will be confirmed only after he/she has deposited the admission dues as per rule and have submitted the required documents.
  • There will be no test of students who want to take admission in Nursery to class I, but have to bring the child for oral interview. Transfer Certificate from other school is not required for admission of children in these classes.
  • Age at the time of admission in various classes should be as follows:
    1-Pre-Nursery- 2 ½ to 3 Years
    2-Nursery — 3 to 4 years
    3-L.KG. – 4to 5 years
    4-U.K.G — 5 to 6 years
    5-Class I — 6 years and above
  • To certify the date of birth a birth certificate duly certified by Nagar Nigam/ Municipal Authority/ appropriate authority is necessary.
  • The guardians who are interested to admit their ward in any of the classes of K.C.Convent may also follow the above rules.
  • Documents required for admission

  • Four (04) passport size photograph of the student.
  • Proof of residence of parents. (zerox copy).
  • Birth certificate (Attested zerox copy )
  • Transfer certificate (Counter signed if required) for class II onwards and mandatory for IX and XI.
  • Withdrawal of student

  • For obtaining a Transfer Certificate a student must have paid all his fees in full update.
  • One month’s notice must be given to obtain a T.C or a month’s fees, will be charged in lieu thereof.
  • No transfer certificate will be issued during summer vacation.
  • School authorities has the right to struck off the name of the student on following grounds:1-Irregular attendance
    2-Late payment or non payment of fees.
    3-If conduct of students is not satisfactory.
  • GENERAL RULES

  • All the students must attend the school regularly and punctually 80% attendance is compulsory. In case attendance of any candidates falls short, he/she may not be allowed in final examination and may be detained in the same class.
  • Pupils themselves are responsible for their own books, pens, cycles, Tiffin carriers, jewellary or any other articles which they bring to school, school will not be held responsible in case of loss of any such articles brought in the school premises or kept in the class rooms.
  • Pupils are expected to take care of the school property. Any damage caused to the school property will be made good either individually or collectively.
  • Keeping or use of CELL PHONES in school campus is strictly prohibited.
  • Parents must cooperate with school in enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline.
  • Irregular attendance, negligence in attending assigned work of work assignments or any form of misconduct are liable for punishment or dismissal according to the direction of the principal.
  • Students are expected to come to school in proper uniform, polished shoes, neatly trimmed hair and clean nails.
    Students must be well behaved and they must respect all members of staff.
  • All students should converse in English in the school premises to develop their language skills.
  • It is compulsory for students to be present on the first day and last working day before and after each vacation.
    No student should be absent from school functions except for serious reasons.
  • If for some reason a student cannot attend school/college for more than 3 days consecutively leave application from parent/guardian must follow explaining the reasons for the absence of his/her ward.
  • The school/college is divided into four houses for all curriculum and co-curricular activities. They are Red House, Green House, Blue House, and Yellow House.
